There comes a time when kids no longer yearn for public affection, but when it does happen, it hits you like a ton of bricks.
I had what I would call one of the most disturbing experiences as a mom ever recently! My six-year-old son Daniel pulled away from me when I tried to kiss him.
I mean, he is only six, I thought we still had time? Moms, am I crazy?! I thought this only happens in high school, I could live with that, but not at this age... no, no, no! Too soon, baby...

There's always that fear that the day will come when your child will think that he or she is too cool to kiss you, but I definitely did not expect it to come this soon.
I need to know that I'm not alone here, do you still kiss your kids or at what age did they tell you to stop? According to psychologists, kissing on the lips should stop between ages 5 and 6.
