On Friday, it was announced that Hollywoodbets will yet again be partnering with East Coast Radio for a massive sporting event. This time, listeners will be brought Rugby World Cup updates live from Japan by East Coast Drive’s very own Gareth 'G-Dog' Jenkinson.
We told you we had big news to share - and we didn't disappoint!
On Friday, it was revealed that G-Dog would be making his way to Japan to bring you live updates during the Rugby World Cup - powered by Hollywoodbets.
Hollywoodbets partnered with East Coast Radio when they sponsored Myron Naicker's trip to the Cricket World Cup, which took place in the UK back in May.
"We experienced an incredibly successful campaign when we sponsored Myron Naicker’s trip to the Cricket World Cup in the UK, and we jumped at the opportunity to be involved with this major event!" Hollywoodbets said in a Press Release.
"Being a Durban born and bred company, we affiliate ourselves closely with the listeners of East Coast Radio. We know the passion KZN has not only for the Cell C Sharks rugby team, but the Springboks, too. Everyone will be following the Rugby World Cup very closely, and ECR will be the number one source for updates."
The Durban-based company added that they will be adding betting on all matches during the event.
"We are passionate about sports betting, and the Rugby World Cup is an exciting event for us, where we will be covering betting on all 48 of the matches, offering customers the widest range of markets to bet on. South Africa are currently the 2nd favourites to New Zealand to lift the William Web Ellis trophy, and we believe they are a great bet for this year’s tournament."
We are so proud of our very own G-Dog, and you will agree that we could not have chosen a better and more passionate Sports Presenter to cover the Rugby World Cup.
