The flip flop debate – what colour do you see?
People on social media are desperately trying to resolve this colour debate once and for all.
The colour debate is back again. This time a pair of flip flops take centre stage.
In case you missed it, a post went viral last year about the colour of a dress. It had the internet losing its collective mind trying to figure out the real colour of the dress. Some argued it was blue and black, while others argued it was white and gold.

Just as we thought we had put the colour debate to bed, another case has dawned on us. A post on Twitter has been making the rounds after a user took a picture of a pair of Havaianas. The post was welcomed with confusion after users were trying to figure out what colour the flip flops were.

Scientists eventually had to step in and voice their opinions. They have mentioned that we all view colour and coloured light differently, as light bounces off the items and onto our retinas.
However, the debate is back again and everyone is still arguing even after the scientists stepped in.
