East Coast Drive: ‘Is it possible to be anti-gay, but not homophobic?’
After an incident involving an Australian rugby player, Bongani and Mags
ask a big question.
Australian rugby player Isreal Folau found himself in hot water after saying on social media that all gay people will go to hell unless they repent for their sins.
The full-back insisted though that he is not homophobic, but rather just really religious.
Rugby Australia accepted his explanation and decided against punishing him for his comments.
So, East Coast Drive then asked KZN what you thought about it.
Do you think it is acceptable to use religion as an excuse to justify homophobia?
