Majozi was born on the south coast region of KwaZulu-Natal in a village called Mthwalume, and Nelisa has been working towards her dreams of stardom by studying Dramatic Arts at High School and a BA in Media Studies at WITS University.

SABC revealed last year that 'Uzalo' was the most-watched soapie in South Africa. 'Uzalo', which plays on SABC1 weekdays at 20h30, had broken all records in the history of television viewing in South Africa by reaching a total of 10.2-million viewers.
