Finally...when 'Back To The Future 2!' is here, now!
Back To The Future has launched itself into the present, with Portuguese football star Cristiano Ronaldo trying on a pair of self-lacing shoes.
In a video posted to his 51 million Instagram followers on Wednesday, the Real Madrid player is seen placing the Nike shoe on his foot, then laughing out loud as the laces tie themselves.

He is the first athlete to slip on the self-lacing runners, known as HyperAdapt.
Actor Michael J Fox, seen putting on a pair of self-lacing shoes in the futuristic Back To The Future II, tried on a similar Nike pair in October 2015 for Back To The Future Day celebrations.
"I think it's crazy. I think it's spectacular," Ronaldo said.
Nike senior innovator Tiffany Beers said the shoe, developed between 2013 and 2015, automatically tightens when the shoe-wearer places their foot on a sensor.
The runners will be available to Nike members by the end of 2016
