#WorldBloodDonorDay: Darren gives blood on air
Updated | By East Coast Breakfast
The 14th of June marks World Blood Donor Day, and to stress the importance of this day, Darren decided to donate his pint on air!
Listen to Darren, Keri and Sky as they take the SANBS questionnaire on air or read the details under the podcast below.
Every year in June, countries around the world celebrate World Blood Donor Day. The event serves to thank voluntary, unpaid blood donors for their selfless and life-saving gifts of blood.
It is also aimed at raising awareness of the need for regular blood donations to ensure the quality, safety, and availability of blood and blood products for patients in need.

Okay, let's be fair, the only person who can actually pass the questionnaire and be eligible to donate blood is Darren Maule.
