Women are convincing men that their faces peel off while on their period
Updated | By El Broide
Model and influencer Dakota Fink rallied women around the
world to prank the men in their lives to believe that their faces peel while they’re
on their period.
It’s true. Candid conversation between men and women about periods are not had as often as they should. The topic is still taboo for many couples around the world. So, to shed some light on just how little men know about periods, model and influencer Dakota Fink rallied some of her followers on TikTok to convince the men in their lives that their faces peel when it’s that time of the month.
The trend started when Dakota peeled what seems to be a face mask and shared it on the social media site with the caption "Throwback to when men didn’t know we had to peel off layers of our skin after our period.”

Taking to the comments, women around the world shared their made-up experiences with skin peeling after a period – and the stories are hilarious!
"This happened while I was applying makeup because I
forgot and wasted so much foundation," one TikTok user commented. Another
added "Someone has to slap me really hard (like simp hard) for it to peel
off. If anyone wants to volunteer just holler."

A third wrote "For those asking, it's supposed to start two to three years after your first period, usually one to three days out of your cycle. Let's normalise talking about it."
The prank had so many men questioning everything they thought they knew (or didn’t know) about periods. "I'm a boy, and this is actually true?!" one user commented. Another confused man said "So it’s true… to every girl, woman, and non binaries that have periods. I’m so sorry y’all have to go through soo much.”
