The man was caught red-handed – and his wife
was having none of it.
In the age of social media, escaping the truth has proven to be more difficult than ever. This is why cheaters have had to be more careful than ever not to expose themselves to their loved ones at home. For one man, however, a tiny detail on a Facebook image caused his wife to ask questions – and they are now officially divorced because of his answer.
When Detroit-based dancer, artist, marketer, and entrepreneur Tylar Paige was going through her Facebook page, she noticed a photograph of her husband posing at a club “with a bunch of girls”. While she is usually confident enough not to worry, she noticed that his wedding ring was missing and started getting a little suspicious.

When Tylar called out her now ex-husband, he came up with the "most ridiculous lie" she’d ever heard – and it was the straw that broke the camel’s back.
In the clip shared on TikTok, Tylar explains that her former lover tried to persuade her that “they Photoshopped his ring off”. Tylar couldn’t help but laugh at the elaborate lie that a club would take the time to photoshop his ring off, adding that they have officially divorced now.
@tylarpaige I’d love for this sound to go viral because he will know he’s the only idiot that would tell such a whopper!!! #fyp #liar #cheater #exhusband

Captioning the clip, Tylar says that she would “love this sound to go viral because he will know he’s the only idiot that would tell such a whopper!!!”
Viewers couldn’t believe how ridiculous the story was, with one joking that Tylar hadn’t divorced him, she had merely “Photoshopped him out of your life”.

Others shared their own horror stories. “My ex husband came home with a hickey. He said he fell and hit his neck on the toilet,” one woman said. Another added: “My ex was on a dating site. His excuse was that it was an old profile and dating sites make the accounts of hot people look active to get more people.”
Interestingly, jewellery retailer swagg.co.uk found that 51% of men admitted that they removed their wedding ring when visiting a pub, club or bar with their friends.
