English artist, Damien Hirst is the designer behind the Certified Lover Boy album cover.
It has been one the most interesting times in music for Hip-Hop with Kanye West dropping his album, DONDA August 29 and Drake teasing to his own album later in the week.
Ahead of his release of the fiercely anticipated, Certified Lover Boy, Drake shared a cryptic image on Instagram with 12 pregnant woman emojis, accompanied by the caption, "CERTIFIED LOVER BOY SEPTEMBER 3".

The album comes after it had been postponed in January 2021 to an unconfirmed date. When he shared the Instagram post it was the established it would album's cover art.
It features a grid of 12 multiracial “pregnant woman” emojis wearing differently colored shirts. The reception of the quality of this album cover had mixed responses a some called it "lazy", some calling it "corny" and some going all the way with the disapproval of it and calling it an "abomination".

British artist Damien Hirst, who Drake tagged in the cryptic post, is the designer of the record-breaking album's cover.
The artist's Spot Paintings with monochromatic canvases covered in rows of dots painted in complimentary colors and colourful dots and his work, sculptures of pregnant women is what seems to have inspired Drake's CLB.

Lil Nas X is one of the people who also spoofed the album's cover by sharing a similar design but with male 'pregnant men'.

Nevertheless, the album cover has not diluted the actual music. In less than 12 hours after its release, Certified Lover Boy, had already broken Apple Music’s 2021 record for most-streamed album in a single day.
Drake is also titled the most-streamed artist on Apple Music in 24 hours this year.
We also might not get the whole concept of the cover art but definitely applaud the success of the album thus far.
