In the heart of the romantic city of Paris stands the magnificent Eiffel Tower, an enduring symbol of art, architecture, and romance.
However, on Saturday, the bustling atmosphere around this global icon was replaced with an air of caution and concern as the landmark was evacuated and closed to the public due to a bomb threat. '

According to Republic World on YouTube, the French Police on Saturday informed that the Eiffel Tower was closed to the public after being evacuated as a precautionary measure following a bomb threat
While the threat turned out to be unsubstantiated, the incident offers a glimpse into the complex balance between preserving the spirit of tourism and ensuring the safety of visitors.
While this is going on, Sky Tshabalala reminded people that the Rugby World Cup 2023 is happening in France, and Paris is one of the host cities.
"Interestingly, this is happening in France, and the Rugby World Cup is starting in a couple of weeks. I wonder what this means for the Springboks; preparation?" asks Sky.
Before the Boks head off to France, they start in Cardiff, Wales with a warm-up match against Wales this coming weekend.
