Darren said: "2022 was such a busy year! When I came to do a Year in Review post, I was amazed at the sheer volume of work we had executed during the year.
"By the time I came to take a break, I was very happy not to have my usual 4.30 alarm go off. The whole family was on holiday, so it was great to enjoy quality time being together."
The highlights of his holiday were seeing the Msanzi Philharmonic Orchestra perform at the Playhouse Opera, while he admits the he absolutely loved seeing 'Avatar 2', too.
"The coming together over food was also something we enjoyed much of – Anna cooked an incredible roast with all the trimmings over the festive weekend and we all enjoyed charades, bad cracker jokes, and lots of laughs together," he continued.

"We had a great old school night out at Roma Revolving, amazing curries at Jeera’s with friends - who we hadn’t seen in a year, and it was lovely having my mom come to stay for a week too.
"Mouse enjoyed a camping, fishing, and swimming weekend away and the holidays saw school friends come and go for sleepovers, which was fun.
"Anna and I enjoyed some wonderful spa days down at Sun Coast and we also took a weekend away there too, which was a real break.
"We had many an afternoon on the tennis court and driving range at Umhlali Country Club and an afternoon of Segway adventures down at Moses Mabbida, which was awesome.
