As we kicked off the week on Monday, we had our first Budget Bill Blaster moments which were truly special.
Starting the year with some bill payments looming is not the most pleasant situation to be in.

Luckily, Budget Insurance pulled through for Nokukhanya and Margaret.
One needed to get her university registration fees sorted, which caused her sleepless nights.

This all happened with KZN and national cricket stars doing the show with Darren, Keri, and Nick Tattham.
It was a marvellous surprise as SJ Erwee started out from 6:00, passed the ball to Keshav at 7:00, and later David Miller finished off the show in the last hour in style.

We also had a very touching and special Big Favour moment as young Mandisa narrated the story of how she was violently hurt by her aunt, which caused the loss of her front tooth.

On Thursday, we had our first episode of Keri's Couch for the year and it featured Durban journalist and mother, Glynis Horning.
She penned a novel detailing life shortly after her son committed suicide.
Take a listen as she describes the grief she continues to go through with the family.
She also shares a message for anyone out there who might contemplate suicide as the answer to everything.
