The day after England's 2-1 loss to Iceland at EURO 2016, Rooney appeared to look quite different, which left tongues wagging!
What happened to his hair?
Before the loss, he had a head full of thick, brown hair, but the day after as he was leaving the hotel, the English player's hair had all gone!
We've heard that Rooney has been through a series of hair transplant procedures, and hair transplant surgeon Asim Shahmalak believes the soccer star has been using hair thickener spray to cover up his balding spots during game days.

“You can clearly see how he has benefited from his two previous hair transplants in these pictures", Dr Shahmalak told Mirror.co.uk.
"He has a full covering of hair towards the front of his hairline in a D-shape. It is the most important area to cover if you want to give the appearance that you have a full head of hair," he continued.
Rooney started going bald when he was 25 and he once tweeted, “Just to confirm to all my followers I have had a hair transplant". He followed with another tweet saying, "I was going bald at 25 why not. I’m delighted with the result. It’s still a bit bruised and swollen when it dies down u will be first to see it. Anyone recommend any good hair gel. Haha".
Well, we're glad it wasn't the Iceland defeat that took his hair away after all.
