All they way up there with the cups, biscuits, and everything...
If your friend said to you, "Let's have a tea party but on the highest mountain in the world", what would you say?

The idea was the brainchild of Andrew Hughes, an athlete from Seattle, Washington.
It was conceived early in the pandemic when COVID-19 travel restrictions did not allow anyone to be out and about. According to CNN, he said the isolation made him realise he missed the community more than the summits.
The tea party took place on 5 May 2021 and they actually faced challenges on the day.

Firstly, a massive snow storm made it all complex.
They also struggled with coordinating the logistics of hauling the extra supplies, including Girl Scout cookies that Hughes brought from Seattle up Mount Everest.
"The supplies had to withstand flying across the world, being transported to base camp strapped to a yak, and then carried in backpacks traversing the unforgiving terrain, which included frozen waterfalls, to Camp 2 -- without the cookies turning to crumbs," a release said.
Now the team of climbers have set a new Guinness World record!
