WATCH: Looting of Shoprite truck, parts of N2 collapse, loadshedding #KZNFloods

Reports of a truck being looted and various parts of the N2 collapsing have been coming through.
The rain continues to batter KwaZulu-Natal.
Many roads have been affected by the persistent rainfall in KZN.
Authorities have advised on the below, affecting the all important N2 and the R102:
- The N2 going towards Durban after Ultra City has collapsed and the detour is through rural areas.
- The N2 South coming from Durban after Ultra City is in the process of collapsing and the detour is through Umkomaas onto the R102 the old main road into Scottburgh.
- The R102 has washed away before the Scottburgh mal. This means that all traffic is now diverted through Umkomaas and Scottburgh suburbs causing concern.

There are also reports of a Shoprite truck being looted on the M19, Umgeni Road:

Adding to the current situation in KZN, Eskom has also announced that a fragile power system has forced the power utility to implement stage 2 load shedding in order to manage and replenish emergency generation reserves.
