Local flash-flood surfer goes viral on social media

It seems as though someone found that silver lining after the #DurbanStorm?!

When life gives you heavy rain and floods, one insanely brave local decided to surf through the streets of Durban.
Torrential rains created havoc from the south of Durban right through to the south coast, causing widespread flooding and damage across the city.

While many residents were frustrated by the water damage in their homes and to their cars, one Durban local decided to put the flooded streets of Durban to good use by surfing and cruising through what looks like the hotel strip on the Durban Beach Front.
This viral video has been doing the rounds on social media, bringing a little light to the #DurbanStorm situation which left a lot of homes and infrastructure damaged.
