What an incredible morning it was!

KZN has been hearing the phrase that pays, "I want to Live Like A King with King Price Insurance" for two weeks. 

We have had emotional wins and epic fails in one of the most exciting competitions on East Coast Radio and East Coast Gold!

All winners who entered and won on ECR or East Coast Gold over the past two weeks went into the draw for a chance to win the grand prize.

All roads lead us to the King Price Insurance grand finale as forty five contestants came together for the lucky draw that could change their lives on Friday 4 March at the Zimbali Beach Club; R250 000 in prizes - R100 000 of that in cash!

Vanessa Venketsamy, a KZN resident from Phoenix, was one of the finalists, after entering the King Price Insurance competition on East Coast Radio. 

Vanessa was actually the first person to win on Darren, Keri and Sky after the most dramatic start to the competition!

Thanks to that fail, Vanessa was next in line to get the call and she answered with the all-important phrase, "I want to live like a king with King Price Insurance!"

Two weeks later, Vanessa walked away with the following incredible grand prize, that included:

• R100 000 cash & R150 000 in prizes
• 3 x 2-night stay weekend away for 2 (beach, bush, and berg), worth R34 800.00
• Spa pamper for 2 people for 12 months, worth R24 000
• Dinner at top class restaurants for 2 people for 12 months, worth R24 000
• Clothing voucher for the winner worth R30 000
• Heli Flip and picnic hamper worth R10 000 
• Hot air balloon ride worth over R6,000
• Hair/makeup grooming worth R9,000
• Tech hamper worth R12 000

The suspense was so real, because there was more than one Vanessa at the grand finale, so we had to wait for the surname to be announced before we knew who the winner was.

The competition took place on East Coast Radio and East Coast Gold - ECR's online radio station! Both stations broadcasted live from the Zimbali Beach Club - a stunning venue that was nothing short of glamorous.
