Earlier this week, a video of a man in a trolley on the N1 highway, clutching to the back of a fuel truck, was all over social media.
You can see it pull him in the rainy weather.

Did they ever find him?
According to The South African, Engen shared that the lad fled the scene when one of its truck drivers stopped to investigate.
They further shared that they are thankful to the members of the public who alerted the driver of the bulk fuel truck to the matter.
We can only hope that he will not try something as dangerous again.

One can always ask for a lift from a friend inside the vehicle.
As a motorist on the road, watching and experiencing a scene like this, the best to do is alert the driver in a safe manner.
They might stop and kindly ask the person to remove themselves for their own safety.
