A warning for the convenient payment feature...
Tapping to pay has been a blessing for so many South Africans who forget their cards at home, don’t want to carry their wallet or simply enjoy the convenience.
While this feature has elicited many positive reactions from around the country, there are some instances where people have taken advantage of this payment method.

A cautionary tale has been shared to social media, warning users to be on high alert when using contactless payment.
It is apparent that criminals are targeting bank cards with the tap-and-go feature after a woman fell victim to a scam. Take a look at the video issuing the warning:

The circumstances surrounding the video above are unclear at this time, however, the sentiment around being careful with paying holds true.
