WATCH: Alleged match fixing at football match goes viral!

This is not the right way to play football...
The Ogun State FA Cup final match between Remo Stars and Ijebu United has been caught up in an alleged match fixing scandal.
In the video below that is making the rounds on social media, the two Nigerian teams went into a penalty shootout after the match ended 0-0.

The match started out being fiercely competitive before the shootout.

The first thing that started to raise eyebrows was when the Remo Stars goalkeeper failed to move after a the spot-kick from an Ijebu United player.
However, things took a downwind spiral from there.

A Stars player took to the penalty spot to take his spot-kick, only to deliberately kick the ball out of play.
In the end, it was the lower team United that ran out 3-0 victors in the shootout to claim the 2022 edition of their hometown tournament.
