Pasta, sand, and all things beach...
Everyone loves a picnic by the sea, but Avery Cyrus has taken it to another level by making a pasta dish on the beach.
Not only was this intricate pasta dish put together in a public setting, but ocean water was used in the dish. How bizarre!

Watch this video that has generated thousands of mixed reactions online:
The question on everyone’s mind is, “Why would you use ocean water?!”
Many users have defended this choice, mentioning that many people use tap water with salt added to it to boil their pasta. Additionally, when you bring the water to a boil, it will “get rid of all the bad stuff in the water”.

The concern from other users is that the water is not exactly clean. Living in South Africa, we would never dream of using ocean water in a meal.
Another user shares: “Y’all complain about the ocean water, I was just looking at the huge square of butter.”
We wish this online user the best of luck in her endeavour to cook it up on the beach.
