Video of robbery in Durban's Point area leads to gang arrest
The gang of men who were arrested will appear in court soon.
CCTV footage of a robbery that took place in the Point precinct has helped Boss-UIP Security Specialists and the police to make arrests.
For weeks, a gang had been terrorising residents and students who live in the area; often threatening its victims with stabbing before violently taking their valuables, such as cellphones, wallets, clothing items and jewellery.

According to Boss-UIP Security Specialists, the Urban Improvement Precincts Company decided to set up an advanced CCTV network in and around the Durban area after noticing an increase in crime.
So far, two out of the five men linked to the gang have been arrested and more arrests are set to follow.
