Video: Boks dance at Heathrow after flight is cancelled
Updated | By East Coast Radio
This has got to be the best way to capture the spirit of our Springboks...
There's something special about South Africans amidst a problem.
It's like resilience is built into our DNA. When problems arise, we try our best to find the silver lining - and our sportsmen tend to be the leaders in this department.
South African journalist/author Shanthini Naidoo was at Heathrow Airport in London and after hearing that their flight was cancelled, she came across a pleasant sight.
While waiting at the airport with her family, she admitted she was tired, dirty, and upset about the cancelled flight. Not knowing when the flight would be rescheduled, she was surprised to see a sight for sore eyes.
The Springbok team were also travelling through Heathrow, and instead of sitting with glum faces, they began to dance and sing to Shane Arendse's song, 'Ma Ek Wil n Villa Wees'.
Of course, we see Siya Kolisi jiving to the beats and uplifting the mood.
