Ukraine has moved its official Christmas holiday to 25 December in a break from the Russian Orthodox church, which celebrates it on 7 January.

Canadian rapper Drake revealed that he is the buyer of a crown-shaped ring that belonged to slain hip-hop legend Tupac Shakur, which sold at auction this week for a record $1-million.

Julius Malema has been criticised for singing "Shoot to kill, kill the Boer, kill the farmer" at the EFF's 10-year celebrations. Last year, The Equality Court said that the song was freedom of speech and had to be left in the political arena.
