Tragic fire destroys a Durban-based children's home

Tragedy struck on Tuesday night when a fire broke out at the Edith Benson Children's Home.

The Edith Benson Children's Home is based in Sherwood and houses 57 children, who are aged between three months and five years.

Fortunately, firefighters and paramedics responded to the emergency swiftly, leaving no casualties or injuries.
Videos showing the severity of the fire have been circulating on social media and pleas for help have been made.

A message has gone out asking that we, as KZN, rally in support to the kids of Edith Benson Children's Home by donating a few items that may be beneficial to the children who've lost everything in the fire.
