Tourist books 'Iron Man' villa for R330k a night

A TikToker went viral after posting a video of his stay at Iron Man Villa, which costs a whopping R300k per night

Have you ever wondered what it’s like to live like Tony Stark? Well, for a cool $120,000 (roughly R2.3 million), a young entrepreneur got to do just that.
The high-flyer, known only as @musametas online, booked Cape Town’s Iron Man Villa in Clifton, a futuristic, multimillion-dollar mansion designed to look like Stark's home.
This villa is the stuff of dreams, boasting panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean and the Twelve Apostles mountain range.
After posting a video of his ultra-lavish stay, social media exploded with reactions ranging from awe to absolute disbelief.
While some users marvelled at the home’s sleek design and breathtaking views, others had a simple question: Bro, why?
In the clip, @musametas casually brushes off the jaw-dropping price tag, saying that while $120,000 sounds like a lot to most people, it’s really not much to him.
Because when you make six figures a month, dropping a small fortune on a week-long stay is just another Tuesday.

The Iron Man Villa is no ordinary rental. It spans four levels with multiple wings, with a spa, private bar, entertainment theatre, and enough parking for eight cars. Most of us don’t even have eight friends.
And how much would this cost? Anywhere from R120,000 to R300,000 per night, depending on the season. Oh – and there’s a two-night minimum, so even Iron Man himself couldn’t just drop by for a quick overnight stay.
If you’ve ever dreamt of waking up in a billionaire’s mansion, gazing over the ocean with an espresso in hand, and not worrying about your bank balance – you better start saving.
Or invent a super suit.
Either way, good luck.
