This is why your dog should not lick your face

We love our furry friends, but allowing them to lick your face could be seriously dangerous
When a dog licks your face, it's usually a sign of attention and affection and it might look cute but it could potentially be dangerous.
The bacteria in your dog's mouth could pose a serious danger to your health. Many people believe a dog's mouth is cleaner than a human's, but it's entirely not true according to Author and dog expert Marty Becker.
“All you have to do is look, watch, smell and you’ll realize that is not true", he says. "They raid the garbage can. You know, we give each other a peck on the cheek when we say hello, they give each other a peck on the rear end", he added.
“It is not just what is carried in saliva. Dogs spend half their life with their noses in nasty corners or hovering over dog droppings so their muzzles are full of bacteria, viruses and germs of all sorts" - ohn Oxford, professor of virology and bacteriology at the Queen Mary University in London expanded on the topic.
