With the unrest taking place around South Africa, here are some tips on what to do and what not to do if you're caught in a fire.
We're in a very delicate situation in South Africa and it's important to take as many precautions as possible.
With the threat of fires being a real concern, here are some tips to consider if you're ever caught in this incredibly stressful and dangerous situation.
If you catch alight, you must never run. It will not help and it will make it difficult for other people to help you, too.
The process is, in fact, to:
STOP: Don’t run! It’s important to stop moving as soon as you notice that your clothes are on fire. DROP: Once you stop drop to the ground in a prone position. It’s important to cover your face with your hands to protect it from any flames.

ROLL: Once you’ve stopped and dropped, roll over and over and over until the flames are out. Don’t stop until they’re completely been extinguished.
