Sssurprise! A snake fell into this woman’s margarita
Updated | By East Coast Breakfast / Skyye Ndlovu
A snake dropped into this woman’s margarita and it wasn’t the salt rim that had her rattled!

If you thought you’ve had a rough night out, wait until you hear about this poor woman’s margarita misadventure.
Carletta Andrews, a Virginia local just looking to enjoy a chilled drink and some good vibes, found herself in a real-life 'Snakes on a Plane' situation.
Except there was no plane, just a margarita glass.

On April 16, while dining at Patron Mexican Restaurant and Cantina, Andrews was finishing up her meal when she felt a light tap on her forehead.
Innocent enough, right? Maybe a bit of condensation from the ceiling… or a rogue piece of lime. Nope.
“I leaned in to take a sip and I noticed something hit me in the forehead,” she told WRIC-TV. “I looked at my husband like, ‘What was that?’”
Spoiler alert: it was a snake.
Yes, a live baby snake had fallen from the ceiling, bounced off her head, and landed in her margarita like it owned the place.
The snake immediately started wrapping itself around her straw.
Andrews, understandably one blink away from a full-on horror movie scream, watched as restaurant staff scrambled to remove the reptilian party crasher with a stick.
When that didn’t work, another brave (or mildly unhinged) customer grabbed it with their bare hands and escorted it outside.
“I kept saying, ‘Please don’t let it go in my purse,’” Andrews recalled. “I left shaking, I was traumatised.”

The restaurant, doing what restaurants do in times of reptile-related crises, offered to move her to another table.
Andrews politely declined and made a swift exit, probably Googling “snake-free restaurants near me” on the way out.
According to the owner, the snake most likely entered through an air conditioning vent.
That probably raises a whole new set of problems for ceiling maintenance teams everywhere.
As for Andrews? Well, she’s taking a little break from the dining-out scene for now.
