If the Springboks were foods on a charcuterie board
Updated | By East Coast Radio
From Ox tongue Nche to Ebentaller Cheese, we have the scoop for you!
As the province gears up for the much anticipated Springboks match on Saturday, snacks are on our mind!
Earlier this week we asked you what the best snacks for a sports watch party are, here's what you said:
This weekend the Springboks are playing against Ireland here in Durban, and if you weren’t lucky enough to get tickets, or to win tickets, you’ll be planning to either go and watch the game at a friend’s house, or host the most epic Springboks watch party in history!
One of our ECR listeners, Aldine, suggested that we put together charcuterie boards, so if we actually end up putting together some charcuterie boards, we have the perfect list of food items, and they are all Bok-related…
Here are the 'Springboks on a board' shared by East Coast Breakfast:
- Ox Tongue Nche
- Salami Kolisi
- Cheslin Coleslaw
- Salmon Moorat
- Melrose Marx
- Ebentaller Cheese
- Jesse Creole Crawfish and Jambalaya
- Franco French Mostert
- Phepsi Buthelezi
- Faf & Vleis
- Hamdre Pollard
So there you have it, folks! We hope you have a wonderful weekend backing our boys. Go Bokke!
