South Coast bites above the rest
Updated | By Vinesh Soogreem & ECR
This week, KZN's fishing grounds saw mixed results – the North Coast and Midlands were quieter, while the South Coast and offshore waters produced some great catches.

According to the Angler News SA podcast team, while Durban's fishing scene delivered mixed results, the South Coast and offshore waters delivered exceptional catches of snoek, couta, dorado, and sailfish.
Durban's harbour made a strong recovery, offering crystal-clear waters and rewarding fishing opportunities.
The South Coast, meanwhile, maintained its strong performance, with consistent catches of kingfish, grey sharks, sand sharks, and more.
In the latest podcast episode with Vinesh Soogreem, reporter Adam Lyon shares highlights from an action-packed week, pinpointing top spots where anglers using mackerel bait recorded memorable catches.
Tune in for the full weekly review of KZN's fishing hotspots, including the North Coast and Midlands.
