South African actress lands role on 'Star Trek Discovery'

The actress is set to make her debut on Thursday, 29 October, in America - the episode will air on Friday in South Africa.
South African-born actress Phumzile Sitole, who now resides in the States, has joined the science-fiction series, Star Trek Discovery.
Sitole is no stranger to the American audience, as she has had roles on big productions such as Orange Is The New Black and The Good Fight.

On the popular 'Star Trek' franchise, she will portray the role of Captain Ndoye, with the episode airing in America on Thursday on CBS, and on Friday in South Africa on Netflix.
