Somizi drags journalist after article on divorce rumours

Somizi Mhlongo-Motaung threatened to sue the journalist and the publication.
'Idols SA' judge, singer, and dancer, Somizi Mhlongo-Motaung, took to his social media to lambaste a journalist who ran with a story that a divorce is on the cards between him and his husband, Mohale Motaung-Mhlongo.
The couple has been plagued by rumours of a looming divorce since last year. Things get even more sketchy for their fans every time Somizi posts content with his best friend Vusi Nova, without Mohale.

On Sunday morning, City Press claimed that they have it on good authority that the couple is going through with the divorce.
The article alleges that Mohale is cheating with a married friend of Somizi's.

“The guy is married to a woman and has kids. That is why Somizi did not come out about this because he wanted to be sensitive to protect the guy’s young children. The guy is also financially powerful, so he doesn’t want to drag his name and reputation.
"Mohale just wants to play, he was not ready. Even a week before the wedding, Somizi wanted to cut off the wedding because he found out that Mohale was cheating, but he could not,” the sources revealed to City Press.
As per usual, Somizi and Mohale were trending and the journalist behind the article joined in on the trolling after fans started blasting her phone, because when Somizi dragged her, he exposed her number.
Bathong not Somizi giving me so many story tips and unprovoked business so early in the morning😂. His fans are my vibe though. Funny! pic.twitter.com/4es0H3qAo5
