Dear KZN men, would you kiss another man for money? Darren Maule investigates with his social experiment
Following the recent international comments around our very own gold medal winning runner Caster Semenya – about her sexuality and legitimacy as an athlete in the woman’s 800-metre race – and the comments from a certain potato loving pastor, I decided to conduct a little social experiment to see if KwaZulu-Natal’s men harboured many homophobic straight men.
The rules were simple.
1 man - myself Darren Maule, will give R1000 to another man willing to kiss me.
The experiment goes as follows : I approach a man , ask them if they are straight – and if they would kiss another man ( with a passion) for money…
