Snow has officially fallen in Southern Africa

Winter is closer than you think! Afriski in Lesotho experienced its first snowfall of the season on Tuesday morning.

Some beautiful images of Afriski in Lesotho have been shot by Martin Schultz, who captured the area covered in snow. From houses to gardens, hilltops and roads - a winter wonderland had arrived overnight.

"This is getting us excited for the winter season," read the caption on The Storm Report Facebook page. Judging by the thousands of shares and reactions, people are ready to build a snowman!
The winter weather is starting to creep in slowly in parts of KZN, with wet and rainy conditions in some areas.
