She's more than just a doctor, she's a mom fighting Covid-19

Dr Lara De La Hey (nee Elliot) is a surgical resident on the frontline of the Covid-19 fight.
She is a wife, a daughter, and a breastfeeding mother who goes to work every single day not knowing if today will be the day she gets infected and can't go home.

She is one of the thousands of essential workers who are fighting the Covid-19 battle. South Africa currently has more than 8,000 cases and 161 deaths at level 4 of the lockdown.

Dr De La Hey talks about the virus from a mom's perspective and how she almost walked away from her career just one exam short of becoming a surgeon.
