The mother of two children resorted to comfort eating after her husband took his own life after suffering from severe depression. When she weighed 313 pounds (156,5 kg) she knew that she had to turn her life around for herself and her children.


Justine McCabe took the decision to lose weight and did the most phenomenal think to keep a record.
She regularly consumed five slices of pizza, breadsticks and chicken wings for dinner until she took a   picture of herself and everything “I didn’t recognize myself in it,” McCabe, told Us Magazine.



“Taking pictures every day and comparing them to other ones I had taken gave me the desire to keep pushing forward and fight to become the person I knew I was deep down,” she says.

Breakfast 4 chorizo breakfast tacos

Snack 3 cookies, a handful of pretzels, candy

Lunch Double cheeseburger and french fries

Dinner 5 slices of pizza, breadsticks and chicken wings

Dessert Large bowl of ice cream and a bag of M&Ms
