Sharks vs. Dolphins Cricket T20
The Sharks are taking on the Dolphins in a charity T20 cricket match on 15 December. Will Dolphins claim territory or will the Sharks defeat the cricketers?
On the 15th December the Sunfoil Dolphins and the Cell C Sharks are going head to head in the Hollywood Bets Showdown at the Coast! It’s a T20 Cricket match - and get this - all proceeds go to charity.
We were joined by Sunfoil Dolphins big hitter Rob Frylinck and Sharks and Springbok lock Stephen Lewies in studio to tell us more about the event and give us details.
But before all of that went down, Rob Frylinck came bearing gifts for East Coast Radio's Toy Story drive.
The name of the event is Hollywood Bets Showdown @the coast. and tickets are already on sale. The game night will be star studded as the athletes compete against each other for charity. It definitely promises to be an evening of serious competition, fun and entertainment.
Rob and Stephen threw in a little surprise by appointing Sky Tshabalala to be the umpire for the game.
And as if that was not enough, there was another curve ball. East Coast Breakfast and East Coast Drive will be competing against one another. Now we need your help, which team should Breakfast support - Sharks or Dolphins?
Sky took to his role as umpire when a braw broke out between the guys on studio. The heat is defineitly on!
