Here's what your breakfast host got up to during his last vacation before the busy December period hits.
Have you ever wondered what the team gets up to when they are on a break?
Darren Maule's last vacation was in London during the summer but this time he decided to keep things local.

While he got some much-needed rest during his break, Darren managed to squeeze in lots of adventures with family and friends.
Here's how Darren's rest and relaxation went down.
Darren enjoyed waking up without his 4.30am alarm clock ringing in his ears. Instead of heading out the door in the wee hours of the morning, he got to sleep in and then wake up to enjoy his home’s magnificent sea views.

Darren was delighted to get some rest from his demanding radio schedule, especially with the busy festive season around the corner. His loved ones made sure he enjoyed every minute of his break.
“My Anna Banana brought me one of her legendary breakfast trays in bed, every single day of the holiday," says Darren.
It's always been said that a way to man's heart is through his stomach.
"To say I was spoilt with love, homemade food and naps is an understatement!" says Darren.
The rest of the holidays saw Darren enjoying the facilities at uMhlali Country Club, where he serves up a decent game of tennis.

His days also included drives to his new favourite coffee and pastry spot, ‘Dough Girl’, in Berea.
Darren also spent his holiday playing a willing taxi driver to his daughter Mouse - who as a typical teenager, wanted to spend the first week of her school holidays catching up with friends.
Evenings were spent either curled up on the couch with the family or painting the town red on glamorous nights out - which included a black tie event at Sun Coast.
A photo exhibition at the Beverly Hills and an intimate dinner with friends at Bel Punto in uMdloti added to the fun and adventure that was his min-break.

“I feel rested and happy and ready to hit the last quarter of the year hard! I’m especially looking forward to ECR’s 26th birthday celebrations," says Darren.
