Everyone has their favourite coffee mug, tea cup or water bottle.

Many of us won't let anyone else near it because it is so near and dear to our hearts and we would be heartbroken if something were to happen to it!
Okay, that's maybe a bit dramatic, but you know what we mean.

You definitely tend to be a little bit more protective over your favourite mug and you won't just let anyone use it. (Also: coronavirus.)
Being a Breakfast show host, Darren Maule has many coffee cups that he uses daily.

Unfortunately, after a post-show meeting on Monday, disaster struck when one of his favourites slipped from his fingers and crashed to the floor.
Of course, it had shattered to pieces and was no more.

Since then, he has been having trouble finding a new mug he likes, so he decided to reach out to some of his favourite people - YOU!
We asked you, our wonderful listeners, to send us pictures of the mugs you would want to send Darren and you did not disappoint.

UPDATE!
Since receiving a flood of new mug options, Darren was left slightly overwhelmed and feels like he still has not found THE ONE.
More importantly, he doesn't want a brand new mug. He wants one that has lived a full life, that has survived against all odds, and thus will be able to endure many more years under Darren's care.

This means he doesn't just want mug suggestions, he wants someone to donate a mug.
But as it turns out he has quite a list (and he'll be sure to check it twice):
The mug must fit in the cup holder of a Mini.
It must have a lid and a tilt capacity of at least 30 degrees without anything spilling.
It must have the ability to keep my coffee warm.
It must survive at least a 30CM drop - This will be tested.
It needs a backstory, so it needs to have belonged to someone before.
When people see it, they must think or say “That’s a nice mug”
