Scary! Corpse waves from inside coffin
It was a terrifying moment when mourners saw their loved one waving from the coffin. It led to a debate as to whether the deceased was buried alive...
Can you imagine a corpse waving at you from a coffin? Haunting, right?!
In the video, friends and family are gathered around the burial site as the priest reads prayers while the person is being buried.

Suddenly, you see the camera zoom in on the coffin which has a glass panel on it, and you see a hand waving.
The disturbing footage was filmed in Manado, North Sulawesi, Indonesia on May 5. The video sparked a debate about whether the person was buried alive or if the body was just moving.

However, according to researchers at the Australian Facility for Taphonomic Experimental Research (AFTER), dead bodies do move.
Alyson Wilson, who is a researcher on the project, told ABC News: “What we found was that the arms were significantly moving so that arms that started off down beside the body ended up out to the side of the body."
