A South African passport might not be the strongest, but here's how much cash you save...
Renewing a passport is never an easy job, but once it's done, it brings much relief. Just in case you are ever whisked off to Paris, have to make a swift exit or have a last minute vacation planned, it's important to get it done.
According to the Henly Passport Index, the South African passport is the fourth cheapest globally. The United Arab Emirates holds the title for the most budget-friendly option at R336, followed by India at R343, and Hungary at R394.
The South African passport is priced at R600, securing the fourth spot, while Kenya ranks fifth with a cost of R611.
