While President Cyril Ramaphosa's national address on Thursday evening started off sombre, it ended off with laughter and a few memes.
The President addressed South Africa yesterday evening about the new regulations that will be in effect from 1 May. He mentioned that South Africa is currently on level five and regulations will be eased into level four.
Ministers from the relevant sectors will deliver a detailed plan on which entities will be able to operate. This plan has been put in place to open the economy and help South African's generate an income.

Soon after the President ended his speech, he tried to put on his mask which went terribly wrong.
He started off by placing the straps behind his ears, that just snapped out of place and looked like he didn't know what he was doing. After several attempts, he finally put on the mask which covered his entire face.
