Updated | By East Coast Radio
In October 2016, Kim Kardashian was held at gunpoint in her Paris apartment while thieves collected and escaped with £8-million worth of jewelry, leaving Kim completely traumatised.
Being a victim of crime is no laughing matter.
No matter how "big" or "small" the crime was, many people will be left with some kind of lingering trauma.
Unfortunately, you just never know how safe you are in this world.

This robbery case is probably one of the most infamous in the world, partly because of Kim's status, but also because of the struggles she faced after the incident and the documentation of her recovery on 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians'.

It also seems that no matter how badly the family wants to move on from this traumatic experience, other people aren't willing to give up their five minutes of fame that easily.

The book is titled, 'I Kidnapped A Kardashian', and his greatest hope is that this book will serve as his truth.
He was the last to leave the crime scene and came face-to-face with the police.

While he has plans to contest the charges, he does say that he fears going back to jail.
It seems that after 21 years of hopping in and out of jail, this case was the one that finally convinced Abbas that this life is no longer for him.
However, it might just be a little too late.
