R47.8m PowerBall Plus jackpot won in KZN
Someone in KZN just won R47.8 million in the PowerBall Plus jackpot last Friday (28 March) – but the winner hasn’t come forward yet. Could it be you?

A lucky PowerBall Plus player just won a massive R47.8 million, and the winning ticket is still unclaimed.
The ticket was bought in-store in Mandeni for just R45, using manual number selection.
Ithuba, the operator of the National Lottery, is urging all players (especially those in Mandeni) to double-check their tickets.
“We encourage all in-store National Lottery participants to check their numbers shortly after the draw,” says Charmaine Mabuza, CEO of Ithuba.
Plus, to keep your ticket safe, Mabuza recommends writing your name and ID number on the back as soon as you buy it.
This simple step guarantees that your ticket – and any potential winnings – remain yours.
How to claim your millions
Winners have 365 days from the draw date to claim their prize. If the money isn’t claimed within a year, it’s gone.
You can check your ticket at retail stores, on the National Lottery website, or via their social media pages.
If you’re the winner, your jackpot will be paid out tax-free within 72 hours of a valid claim.
So, if you played PowerBall Plus last Friday, check your ticket now.
