Protector: The uber of personal bodyguards

Protector: The uber of personal bodyguards

There’s a new app that lets you book a personal bodyguard as quickly as ordering an Uber.

What if I told you that you could order a personal bodyguard the same way you order an Uber? No, seriously. Meet Protector, the app that lets you book armed agents on demand.

Forget food delivery - now you can get a fully trained, licensed protector to follow you around while you live your best life.

Here’s where things get even crazier. This app isn’t just for high-profile execs or celebrities dodging paparazzi. Nope.

Regular people around the US, like TikTok influencers and college students, are booking bodyguards for the most mundane activities.

Airport pickups? Check. Grocery store runs? Yep. Walking your dog in the park? Absolutely. Apparently, rolling with a personal security detail is the new “I’ve made it” flex.

Here’s how it works:

Protector doesn’t just assign you a random guard. You get to pick your agent like choosing a character in Mortal Kombat.

The app lets you scroll through a lineup of active-duty or retired law enforcement officers and military personnel, each with their own bio and intro video.

You can even customize their look with these options:

  • Business Formal (Secret Service vibes)
  • Business Casual (Chill but intimidating)
  • Tactical Casual (Military-grade “Don’t mess with me” energy)
  • Operator (a.k.a. Full SWAT mode)

A trending Instagram video recently showed a young girl testing the app, casually selecting a protector like he’s a customizable Ken doll; except this Ken comes with body armor and a firearm.

Once you’ve picked your personal protector, you set the pickup time, location, and duration of service (minimum of five hours).

Whether you need a security escort for an event or just want to feel like a VIP for the day, Protector will deliver.

This app is just another sign of how wild life is getting. Forget going to an elite security firm and paying big money for bodyguards. Now you can book one in minutes, all from your phone.

Is this the future of personal security or just another viral trend? Maybe both. Either way, the world just got a whole lot more interesting.
