Many are in the dark when it comes to how exactly you can claim for this reimbursement.
Here's a guide on how to claim back from Eskom:
Individuals have the opportunity to seek reimbursement from the national electricity provider in cases where the provider is deemed responsible.

Much like previous years, 2023 has been a year of turmoil, uncertainty, and limited access to basic needs.
While many residents around the country have been struggling with a secure access to water and electricity, others have faced the struggle of heavier loadshedding schedules.

Many media sources share that “this is the year we plunged into darkness.”
Figures compiled by EskomSePush share that South Africans have faced a record-breaking 332 days of loadshedding in 2023. This signals that there is a severe escalation in the country’s power supply crisis.
This is an alarming increase from the previous 205 days of loadshedding in 2022.
Additionally, SA experienced a record-breaking 74 days of Stage 6 loadshedding.
