Popular South African actor passes away

Mutodi Nesheshe was popular on the SA soapies 'Generations', '7de Laan' and 'Muvhango'.
South African actor Mutodi Neshehe (46) has sadly passed away. You will remember him from his roles on 'Generations', 'Muvhango', '7de laan', and a few other local drama series.
The family shared a statement regarding his death. The cause of death remains unconfirmed.

He was a scriptwriter, director, and producer, as well. Mutodi Neshehe was born in Soweto and started performing in the arts at the age of four and went to the United States when he was 14.
After 15 years in America, Neshehe returned to South Africa in 2004 and has since appeared in several South African films and TV shows.

He participated in SABC 2's fourth season of the dance show, 'Strictly Come Dancing'.
Mutodi Neshehe was seen in SABC1's Generations as Karabo Moroka's second husband Zola, SABC2's Muvhango in the role of the original Ndalamo Mukwevho, was Carter in SABC2's 7de Laan, and appeared in M-Net's Jacob's Cross and Egoli.
He also appeared in a couple of films including 'Windrider' (1985), 'Lullaby' (2007), 'Winnie Mandela' (2011), 'Stealing Time' (2011), as Detective Morena in 'Little One' (2012), and 'Happiness is a Four-Letter Word' (2016).

Neshehe started his own production company, Mutodi Films, and Alexis Consulting Solutions, a consulting company that specialises in team building, immigration consulting, business consulting, and event management.
Mutodi Neshehe leaves behind two daughters.
