Plenty of sardine netting action
Updated | By ECR and Vinesh Soogreem
The sardines have kept the action going along the KZN coastline with plenty of netting action this week, including this morning at Illovo Beach.
The week has been spectacular with abundant fish catches reported along various spots of the KZN coast. Apart from the sardines, there’s been gamefish galore and plenty of big toothy critters as well as Garrick, Shad, Tuna, and many other species.
Vinesh Soogreem has all the details in this week’s Angler News South Africa podcast - the KZN Report episode.

Meanwhile: Ever wonder why some days you catch fish all afternoon, while others leave you with an empty cooler? The secret might be written in the stars (and the tides). In Monday's Expert Series edition of the Angler News SA podcast, fishing expert Dave Irvine discusses how moon phases and tides impact fishing.
Dave offers detailed insights into the optimal times and locations for fishing based on tidal movements and lunar cycles.
